Pacifica Outdoor Adventures will be operating from Winter Harbour again for this years fishing season. Winter Harbour is located on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, approximately 180 miles (300 km) north/west of Campbell River and is strategically located at the entrance to Quatsino Sound.  The sound which includes adjacent  Brooks Bay is in one of the richest fishing waters on the entire west coast.

Winter Harbour is automobile accessible, although the final 35 miles are on all season gravel roads.

Quatsino Sound is a spectacular natural environment, having some of the best Chinook Salmon fishing on Vancouver Island.  Most fishing is done close to shore within the sounds many inlets and islands.   Trips will also include some of the best Halibut, Yellow Eye, Lingcod and other assorted bottom fishing anywhere on the coast.

For the safety of our guests, we are rigged with VHS and CB radio, dual GPS and depth sounder systems.  We operate electric down riggers with Shimano single action reels @ 25lb. test line for Salmon, and some heavy weight rods with 150 lb. test tough line for Halibut and other ground fish.

Pacifica is family operated (with the accommodation and all gourmet meals provided by Dick's Last Resort Bed and Breakfast).  Most meals include the catch of the day and all of our guests leave somewhat heavier than when they arrived!
